Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of pactroom's services ("Services") operated by RitSea SRL. This policy is designed to protect our users, maintain the integrity of our platform, and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account, withholding of funds, and/or legal action.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not use our Services to create, promote, or distribute content that:
2.1 Illegal Content
- Violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Promotes or facilitates illegal activities
- Infringes on intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, patents)
- Contains or distributes malware, viruses, or harmful code
2.2 Harmful Content
- Promotes violence, terrorism, or extremism
- Contains hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
- Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- Exploits, harms, or endangers minors in any way
- Contains non-consensual intimate imagery
2.3 Deceptive Content
- Spreads false or misleading information
- Impersonates another person or entity
- Uses manipulated media (deepfakes) to deceive
- Promotes fraudulent schemes or scams
- Contains misleading claims about products or services
2.4 Adult Content
- Sexually explicit material
- Pornography or adult entertainment services
- Adult dating or escort services
3. Prohibited Activities
You may not engage in the following activities on our platform:
3.1 Fraudulent Activities
- Creating fake accounts or multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
- Providing false or misleading information during registration
- Manipulating follower counts, engagement metrics, or other statistics
- Filing false chargebacks or disputes
- Money laundering or other financial crimes
- Using our platform to facilitate fraud against third parties
3.2 Platform Abuse
- Attempting to access accounts or data belonging to others
- Circumventing our security measures or access controls
- Scraping, crawling, or automated data collection without authorization
- Overloading our systems or infrastructure
- Reverse engineering or decompiling our software
- Interfering with other users' access to our Services
3.3 Harmful Behavior
- Harassing, bullying, or threatening other users
- Stalking or doxxing
- Sending unsolicited commercial messages (spam)
- Collecting or harvesting user data without consent
- Coordinating inauthentic behavior or brigading
4. Prohibited Industries
Our Services may not be used for transactions or content related to:
- Gambling, betting, or lotteries (where prohibited by law)
- Weapons, ammunition, or explosives
- Drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
- Tobacco or vaping products (where restricted)
- Counterfeit or stolen goods
- Multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes
- High-risk financial services
- Cryptocurrency (unless specifically approved)
- Any products or services prohibited by Stripe's terms
5. Creator-Specific Requirements
Creators using our Services must:
- Maintain authentic followers and engagement on connected platforms
- Comply with FTC guidelines and local advertising disclosure requirements
- Clearly disclose sponsored content as required by law
- Deliver content that matches agreed specifications
- Not promote products or services they have not actually used or do not genuinely endorse
- Respond to reasonable brand communications in a timely manner
- Not accept Pacts they do not intend to fulfill
6. Brand-Specific Requirements
Brands using our Services must:
- Provide accurate and complete product/service information
- Not require Creators to make false claims about products
- Approve or provide feedback on deliverables within reasonable timeframes
- Maintain valid payment methods on their accounts
- Not file fraudulent chargebacks for properly delivered content
- Comply with all applicable advertising regulations
7. Advertising Compliance
All content created through our platform must comply with:
- FTC Endorsement Guides (for US-based content)
- ASA CAP Code (for UK-based content)
- Applicable local advertising regulations
- Platform-specific policies (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
Creators and Brands are jointly responsible for ensuring proper disclosure of sponsored content. Failure to properly disclose may result in account suspension.
8. Intellectual Property
- Only upload content you have the right to use
- Respect copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights
- Do not use others' content without proper authorization or license
- Respond to valid takedown requests promptly
9. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us immediately:

- In-app reporting: Use the "Report" function on any user or content
Please provide as much detail as possible, including screenshots and relevant transaction IDs when applicable.
10. Enforcement
We reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate in response to violations, including:
- Issuing warnings
- Removing or restricting content
- Suspending or terminating accounts
- Withholding or reversing payments
- Reporting violations to law enforcement
- Pursuing legal action
The severity of our response will depend on the nature and frequency of the violation. We may take action without prior notice in cases of serious violations.
11. Appeals
If you believe we have taken action against your account in error, you may appeal by contacting us at support@pactroom.com. Please include:
- Your account information
- A description of the action taken
- Why you believe the action was in error
- Any supporting documentation
We will review appeals in a timely manner, but our decision on enforcement actions is final.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through our platform or via email. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
